Honey Glazed Apples and Bell Peppers

* Honey doesn't raise your blood sugar as rapidly as white sugar and serves as a healthier alternative for something sweet

- Bell Peppers (color of choice)
- Apples (Green or Red)
- Honey & Coconut Sugar
- Olive Oil & Unsalted Butter
- Salt, Black Pepper, Cinnamon
- Chopped fresh parsley

- Dice apples into small cubes and slice bell peppers into thin strips.
- Mince thyme and chop parsley.
- In oven safe pan heat up enough olive oil to lightly cover surface of pan.
- Sautè peppers on medium-low for several minutes until lightly browned.
- Repeat with another pan with butter and apples.
- Combine apples and peppers into one pan and season with salt, black pepper, cinnamon. Squeeze a generous amount of honey and a teaspoon of coconut sugar; stir and let caramelize.
- After the sugar stops bubbling, add thyme and garnish with parsley.
- Serve up and enjoy!
